      云南是一个多民族、多山地的省份，加之民族文化的多样性，造就了丰富多彩的传统建筑形式。伴随着科技的进步，生产力水平的提高，城市建设力度进一步加大，建筑用地越来与紧缺，这类资源遭到很大的破坏，“鬼村”层出不穷，造成严重的传统建筑资源损失。随着大量高层建筑和城市立体交通的出现，城市建筑第五立面越来越受到人们的关注；为了满足城市居民的居住需求，一味追求建设速度，却忽略了建筑的特色和质量，“方盒子”平屋顶建筑布满城市各个角落，传统第五立面特色缺失。

      山地建筑第五立面依托山地地形的优势，可以结合地形布置建筑空间，山地建筑第五立面的功能更具多样性，既节约用地，又可以丰富山地城市景观；云南民族文化构成复杂，地理环境多变，自然资源丰富，这就为多彩的山地建筑第五立面发展提供了可能。这些珍贵的山地建筑第五立面资源可以为当代建筑设计提供重要的参考。因此深入分析、总结研究区域内山地建筑第五立面的形式、材料功能及现代运用，是本文的研究重点。

      本文从山地的角度入手，在对云南山地建筑建筑及其第五立面发展演变过程梳理前提下，进一步对云南山地建筑第五立面的形式（第五立面基本类型、具有地域特色的山地建筑第五立面及第五立面组合手法）、材料（传统材料、现代材料）以及功能（实用功能、形象功能及第五立面装饰）总结分析，以期为今后传统山地建筑第五立面的保护更新以及现代运用提供依据。

Abstract

    With the progress of science and technology, as well as the improvment of productivity level, urban construction is further intensified. As a result, built-up land is in an increasing shortage. And such problem appears more serious in such province as Yunnan where is featured with mountains. Accompanied by the emergence of a large number of high-rise buildings and urban transportation, the fifth facade of rban building attracts more and more attention from the public. To meet the demand of residential building, more efforts are devoted to the construction speed, while less to the architectural characteristics and quality. Therefore, a large number of box-styled buildings with flat roofs are easily found at all corners of the city, leading to the lack of characteristics in traditional fifth facade of buildings.

    Taking the advantage of mountain terrain, the fifth facade of mountain building can arrange the construction space according to the topography. And with more diversified functions, it not only saves the land, but also enriches urban landscapes. Yunnan boasts a complex culture constitutes, varied national geographical environment, and abundant natural resources, which provide development possibility for the fifth facade of mountain building and important references for contemporary architectural designs. Based on this, the paper will carry out in-depth analysis and sum up researches concerning the form, material, function and modern use of the fifth facade of mountain building, which will be the main focus as well.

    From the prespective of mountains, this paper will further make a summary and analysis on the the form of the fifth facade ( basic types, the fifth facade of the mountain buildings with regional characteristic and the combination techniques), materials (traditional materials, modern materials) as well as functions (practical function, image and fifth facade decoration) on the basis of summarizing the mountain buildings in Yunnan Province and the evolutionary process of the fifth, aiming to provide foundations for the protection, update and modern use of the fifth facade of the traditional mountain buildings.
