场地位于西安某大学内，紧邻食堂、宿舍区、办公楼、操场。建筑设计采用了清水混凝土作为主要的建筑材料及表皮，不加粉刷装饰，利用最本质的材料表现出外表的质感，并且绿色环保。建筑利用屋顶自然采光、通风，减少电、热的使用，利用中水系统将产生的废水再利用，体现了绿色建筑的理念。并增设学院原本没有的剧院、宴会厅功能区，丰富学生的使用功能。建筑与学校老钢厂相互呼应，对老厂区的元素提取，设计灵感、功能改造符学院学生，教职工的需求。活动中心设置有展厅、小型剧院、中小型会议室、办公室、社团办公室、宴会厅、茶室能满足学生日常活动需要，以及校外人员参观、餐饮等需求。

The venue is located in a university inXi'an, next to the dining hall, dormitory area, office building and playground.The architectural design uses clear water concrete as the main buildingmaterial and skin, without the brush decoration, using the most essentialmaterial to show the appearance of the texture, and green environmentalprotection. The building uses natural lighting and ventilation on the roof,reduces the use of electricity and heat, and reuses the waste water produced bythe reclaimed water system, which embodies the idea of green building. Besides,the theater and banquet hall function area that the Institute did not have wasestablished to enrich the students' use function. Construction and old steelmills echo each other's needs for elements extraction, design inspiration andfunction transformation of the old factory area. There are exhibition hall,small theatre, small and medium conference room, office, office, banquet hall,tea room, and tea room to meet the needs of students' daily activities, as wellas the needs of visitors and restaurants outside school.
