The design concept is creating outdoor ecology museum which can improve the environment in site, and design form is annual ring which comes from nature. According to Magna’s science center function and compared with social science, design project is related to nature science. The ecologic scheme includes many different types of vegetation and can make people more understand the relationship between human industrial development process and nature. Hence, irregular curves form many functional area, which are similar to annual ring.

There are many problems existed in the original site. They main include site participation, vegetation type and industrial structure functional problem.

Paving problem is a challenge in space, because concrete surface occupied a huge area in the site. It may solves the car park problem, but the serious flood would cause a series of environment problems; meanwhile, plenty water cannot be collected. Design provides a new water collection system, which can reuse rain water and collect them. It includes vegetation aspect, topography changing, weir and ditch using, which helps the site to get rid of the constraint of concrete. The design of ecological wetland repairs the surrounding natural system and increase biodiversity.

Industrial structures are significant for the whole site, because they are the feature of landscape. New project provides the possibility to make people arrive the top of the site and appreciate the whole landscape. From this way , people not only can appreciate beauty of site in different seasons, but also they will know more knowledge and information of relationship between people development and nature.
