Today, with theme hotels springing up like mushrooms, almost all techniquesof expression for the theme focus on interior decoration and ornaments.Dujiangyan in Chengdu, a world natural heritage and giant panda habitat, wehave created Mauve Glamor Hotel, the country's first hotel project with pandaintention as the main building.

Dujiangyan is a county-level city inChengdu’s jurisdiction. It is located in the northwest of Chengdu Plain. It isnamed after Dujiangyan Irrigation Project and is known as the source of “Tianfu“which means “the Land of Abundance"; Dujiangyan is a famous internationaltourism city. The ancient Dujiangyan Irrigation Project is known as "theancestor of world water conservancy culture". Chengdu SUNAC culturaltourism city, a world-class super cultural tourism complex launched by Chengdu SUNACcultural tourism group, is located in Dujiangyan Riverfront New Area.

Mauve Glamor Hotel belongs to Chengdu SUNACcultural tourism complex. The site is located on the Bank of Minjiang River inthe south of the cultural tourism city, about 5km away from Dujiangyan CityCenter and Dujiangyan scenic spot. It is close to Duwen Expressway and adjacentto G213.The convenient transportation has brought obvious regional advantages. MauveGlamor Hotel is adjacent to the theme park in the south, Snow World Park in thesouthwest, six-star hotels and bar street in the East, five-star hotels in thenorth, forming a consumption group integrating food, accommodation andentertainment. Relying on in-depth preliminary planningand taking fashion, modernity and rejuvenation as the design concept, MauveGlamor Hotel creates the sense of entertainment and interest of panda themehotel through architectural language. At the same time, it pays attention torefining and expression of local elements in new buildings from the spirituallevel, so as to create a new modern building rooted in the local region.

白色的建筑以曲线轮廓搭配竹元素的运用，远看如同几只憨态可掬的熊猫在竹林中若隐若现，带来审美上的愉悦，吸引人们走近。酒店入口处，熊猫的笑脸映入眼帘，伸出双手迎接客人。

雨棚-雕塑-水池，简单几笔勾勒出竹林中熊猫在水边嬉戏的场景，成为酒店客人，特别是孩童的第一个兴奋点；公区高大的玻璃幕墙上，一座座形态各异的木色拱门，是熊猫的家；活泼的小熊猫在拱门上或趴或坐，俏皮可爱。如果在成都看惯了黑白的大熊猫，身披五彩纹样的彩色熊猫更是让人眼前一亮。

The canopy – sculpture - pool, with a fewsimple strokes, the scene of pandas playing by the water in the bamboo forestis outlined, which has become the first excitement of hotel guests, especiallychildren; On the tall glass curtain wall of the public area, there are woodenarches of different shapes which stand for home of pandas; The lively littlepandas lie or sit on the arch, playful and adorable. If you are used to seeingblack-and-white giant pandas in Chengdu, the colorful pandas in variant patternsare even surprising.

景观及室内元素同样以圆润的曲线为主。穿过大堂，进入建筑围合出的内庭院，庭院将亲子活动与不同的景观区域相结合，空间层次丰富、建筑内外衔接，充满吸引力。

Landscape and interior elements are also dominated by roundedcurves. Passing through the lobby there is inner courtyard enclosed by thebuildings. The courtyard combines parent-child activities with differentlandscape areas, with rich spatial levels, inside and outside of the buildingsare linked full of attraction.
